OVERALL

Please note tags will naturally tarnish overtime.
We recommend rising the off tag after your adventures (e.g., being in salt water) and pat dry.
Brass tags can also be polished by rubbing ketchup on the tag or soaking the tag in a bit of tomato juice. Finish off by rinsing with warm water and drying off your tag. Nickel tags can be cleaned by rubbing white vinegar on the tag. Rise with water and dry.

Another option for both brass & nickel, is lemon and salt. Cut the lemon in half and sprinkle table salt on the lemon. Rub the face of the lemon on the tag. Rinse with water and dry.

 

FONT & DESIGN

The black ink on your tag may fade overtime. It can be touched up using a black Enamel Pen or Industrial Sharpie. Cover design with Pen or Sharpie; wait 3-5 minutes and wipe clean with paper towel/rag.
